Premier Training

Premier Lacrosse Training Program — NH, ME, VT & MA

4 Leaf Premier Training is an invitation-only elite lacrosse development program serving the top players at the high school, middle school, and youth levels across New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Northern Massachusetts. Sessions are offered in  winter at regional locations, with a coaching staff that brings the same intensity and standard as 4 Leaf's year-round travel team program. This is not an open registration skills night — every participant is either nominated by their coach or completes a formal application.

If you are a serious player who wants to train above your current level, with players who match that seriousness — Premier Training is where that happens.

What Is the Premier Training Program?

Premier Training runs across four states during the winter months. Each session is fast-paced with high-repetition drills, run by coaches who develop elite travel lacrosse players year-round. The program is open to boys and girls at the high school, middle school, and youth levels — with separate time slots for younger and older players at each location.

Participation is capped intentionally. The quality of each session depends on the caliber of the players in the room — and that caliber is maintained through the application and nomination process. Open to players from any club or town program, not just 4 Leaf athletes.

Who Gets In — Application & Nomination Process

There are two ways to participate in Premier Training:

Self-Application

Players who believe they are ready for the Premier Training level can complete an application directly through LeagueApps. The application is reviewed by 4 Leaf staff before participation is confirmed. Not all applicants are accepted.

Coach Nomination

Town coaches, middle school coaches, and high school coaches can nominate standout players by submitting the player's first name, last name, and email to matt@4leaflax.org. Nominated players are reviewed for eligibility and contacted directly.

4 Leaf travel team players:

Premier Training is included in 4 Leaf Player Tuition. Email your coach for a free registration code — do not pay standard registration.

What Players Work On at Premier Training

  • High-repetition position-specific drills at game speed — no standing in line
  • Individual technique refinement — stick skills, footwork, positioning, reads
  • Competitive small-sided and full-field scenarios built to match tournament intensity
  • Coaching feedback delivered during reps, not just between them
  • Exposure to players at or above your current competitive level — the fastest development accelerator

Who is Premier Training NOT for:

Players just starting out in lacrosse or those in their first travel season should look at our summer day camps or Summer Training first. Premier Training is designed for players who are already competing at a travel or high school level and want to push above that.

Frequently Asked Questions — Premier Training

Do I need to be on a 4 Leaf travel team to attend Premier Training?

No. Premier Training is open to elite players from any club, town program, or school team. The program is designed to bring together the best players in the region regardless of what organization they play for. 4 Leaf travel players attend for free with a coach-provided discount code.

How do I know if Premier Training is the right level for my athlete?

Premier Training is designed for players already competing at a travel lacrosse or high school varsity level who are ready to push above that standard. If your athlete is in their first travel season or playing town lacrosse only, the summer skills training or summer day camps are a better entry point.

Are sessions for boys and girls together?

Boys and girls train on separate sides of the field at each location. Check the schedule above for the specific time windows by grad year at each venue.

Is there a cost for Premier Training?

The application is free. Once accepted, session fees are listed on the LeagueApps registration page. 4 Leaf travel team players attend free with a code from their coach.

Can my athlete attend Premier Training in multiple states?

Yes. There is no state exclusivity. A player based in Vermont could attend both the Vermont and NH sessions if the schedule and travel allow. Contact matt@4leaflax.org to discuss multi-location participation.
