Experience

Justin Simon serves as an ambassador of the 4 Leaf program and supports the program in a variety of ways. Coach Simon supports the program’s participating families during the college recruitment and college selection process. He is  an experienced resource for parents and students (ie, offer insights on post-secondary opportunities and process) and maintains a personalized approach to counseling and working with students and families to reinforce the philosophy that “fit” in the college process is different for every student. Mr. Simon also provides feedback to the 4 Leaf leadership team regarding the programming and ways it may improve and/or grow.
Coach Simon was named the head lacrosse coach at Holderness in 2019 following being at the New Hampton School where he head-coached four back to back Lakes Region Championships and two back to back undefeated seasons. He was awarded 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017 US Lacrosse ‘Coach of the Year’.  His most prestigious accomplishment came in 2017 when he was selected by his league athletic directors as ‘Lakes Region Coach of the Year’.  Coach Simon during his coaching career has placed student-athletes in the top DI, DII, and DIII programs in the country.
Coach Simon earned his B.A. at Bates College in 2008 and in 2010 his M.Ed in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Plymouth State University. While at Bates, Justin played both soccer and lacrosse.  In lacrosse, he was a four-year starter at attack, a three-time leading scorer, and earned All-NESCAC recognition by his Junior Year. Coach Simon graduated from Holderness in 2004. He earned 12 varsity letters in Soccer, Hockey, and Lacrosse and was the recipient of the Webster Cup award upon graduation, which recognized his excellence in athletics.
